  • Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Menoufia, announced the completion of the implementation of the targeted plan until 3/31/2024 as a first stage to reduce the percentage of wastage and unaccounted for water, in 4 DMZ zones (Sars El-Layan - Menouf - Sadat Center - Al-Shuhadaa). ) Where Menoufia Governorate was divided into 10 isolated DMZ zones through coordination between the Department of Hydraulic Analysis, Water Networks, Unaccounted Water Management, and reducing losses to reduce unaccounted water through developing a plan for governance and rationalization of consumption, which is followed up by the Administrative Control Authority.
  • The company's president explained that fixed digital flow measuring devices have been installed at water stations and connection points between other centers, and pressure measuring devices to improve the distribution of pressures and link and transfer data to the company's ESCAD system to monitor the quantities of water produced and the percentages of loss.
