  • Engineer Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, announced raising the maximum level of readiness to quickly deal with rainwater to prevent traffic paralysis, in addition to the deployment of company teams to clear drains in the event of any blockage, as well as the deployment of suction vehicles to suck up water, to prevent traffic congestion, especially in the cities of the governorate.
  • He said that several areas in the governorate were exposed to a wave of bad weather, which led to heavy rains that caused pedestrians to disappear from the streets.
  • The branch heads were instructed to follow up on the process of pumping rainwater from the streets. The necessary equipment, including sweeping vehicles and suction machines, was immediately dispatched in coordination with the relevant authorities. The necessary action was taken to pump out the accumulated rainwater.
