Menoufia Water Company announces a plan to clean the networks during May 2025.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, announced a plan to clean water networks in all areas of the governorate during May 2025, according to the areas specified in the periodic cleaning schedule.
The company's chairman explained that there is full coordination between the company's branches and local unit heads, each within their respective jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to the specified schedule and dates for cleaning and disinfection operations, as well as prompt response to any emergencies to protect citizens' health.
The company urges citizens to manage their water needs and not use it during the washing period, even if it is present in the network. The company notes that if any sediment or turbidity appears in the water after the washing process, the water should be run for a period of time to remove the sediment resulting from the washing process.

This comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, to continue the necessary periodic maintenance work in accordance with the plan set to clean water networks in various areas of the governorate to ensure the quality of the water provided to citizens.
