  • Menoufia Governorate has witnessed a qualitative shift and remarkable development in drinking water and sanitation projects, with investments amounting to EGP 6 billion between 2019 and 2025.
  • Today, Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, inaugurated the Sarsamous village sewage pumping station project, as part of the presidential initiative "Decent Life", with investments of 75 million pounds, serving 6,800 people, to improve the quality of services provided to citizens. This came during his extensive field tour of the Shohada Center and City, accompanied by Engineer Rushdi Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and Professor Mohamed Al-Zarqani, Head of the Local Unit of the Shohada Center and City.
  • The project includes a lift station, slope networks, and expulsion lines. The electromechanical and civil works have been completed, as well as the slope networks with a length of 9,540 meters and the expulsion lines with a length of 1,620 meters. 1,038 home connections have been made, at a rate of 100%. The project serves the village of Sarsamous and the Martyrs Center, achieving a qualitative leap in the level of services provided to citizens.
