Menoufia Water Company: Summer training for 144 students at the Menoufia Water Technical Secondary School concludes.
Eng. Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, announced the end of summer training for 144 students at the Menoufia Technical Secondary School for Drinking Water and Wastewater in the first and second grades for the academic year 2024-2025 AD during the period from 7/20/2025 to 8/27/2025 AD inside the stations, networks, laboratories and workshops affiliated with the company.
He stated that a training plan has been developed under the full supervision of the General Administration of Training and by a specialized team of engineers and chemists responsible for teaching at the school, with the assistance of occupational health and safety officials at the stations where the training is conducted.
He stressed that the aim of the training is to provide students with practical training on what they have studied theoretically during the academic year, with the aim of creating qualified personnel to work as technicians at the stations.
He added that the students were distributed to stations across the governorate and are being trained under the supervision of a group of elite engineers, technicians and chemists with the aim of bringing the students to a high level of technical competence and skill.
He explained that the training includes basic instructions on safety, security, washing, and maintenance, as well as the stages of wastewater treatment from the inlet to the final outlet. It also covers how to wash overhead tanks, open washing valves, and monitor water quality.
