  • Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, held a meeting with the company's branch managers, in the presence of the heads of the laboratories and quality control sectors, the operations, maintenance and technical support sectors, and the manager of the 125 hotline, to discuss the company's preparations for the 2025 winter rainy season.
  • He discussed the company's preparations for the rainy season and the measures it has taken to combat rain and floods, stressing the need for emergency teams to be on standby 24 hours a day, to continue implementing the plan to clean rain drains, to prepare water suction equipment, and to ensure the readiness of cars and vehicles used in the rainwater suction process.
  • He stressed the need to rationalize electricity consumption at all of the company's sites and to follow up on the implementation of the measures taken by the company to rationalize electricity and water consumption to save energy at all various work sites within the framework of the current state directives to develop an executive plan to achieve the state's targets for rationalizing energy consumption.
  • He also stressed the importance of following up on all complaints received on the 125 hotline 24 hours a day, to present and resolve them immediately, especially problems related to water outages, sudden breaks in water lines, and sewage problems. He emphasized the need to communicate with citizens, identify their problems, and quickly move to crisis locations if any occur.
  • He called for cooperation to improve the work system to provide better services to citizens, both drinking water and sewage services, and to operate stations at full capacity to meet citizens' needs. He also stressed the need for swift action to resolve the problems facing citizens.
