Menoufia Water Company holds a regular meeting of the Supreme Committee for Water and Sanitation Safety and Security.
Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, headed by Eng. Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman and Managing Director, held the periodic meeting for water and wastewater safety to present the corrective measures for renewing the safety certificate for the treatment systems of the Dinosaur stations in Al-Shohada Center with a design capacity of 15,000 m3/day and the Samadoun station with a design capacity of 10,000 m3/day.
The meeting addressed the company's commitment to producing water that complies with specifications from its production stations, and the subsequent monitoring of production stages, starting from water sources until its exit from the production station, and implementing water safety and security plans and sewage handling safety plans for all stations, as these are among the most important tools for ensuring the quality of the produced water and preserving the environment and public health of citizens.
He emphasized the need to address water safety issues, establish a timetable for implementing safety plans at all drinking water stations, and emphasize the importance of periodic monitoring of corrective actions for water safety plans and the safe handling of wastewater.
At the end of the meeting, certificates were presented for the nominated Melig and Sirs El-Layan water treatment plants, in the presence of representatives from the Holding Company, sector heads, general managers, and relevant authorities in Menoufia Governorate, including the Irrigation and Environment Directorates, as well as heads of relevant company sectors.
