  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, held a meeting with the heads of sectors and branch heads to discuss the company’s preparations for the rainy season of winter 2026.
  • He discussed the company’s preparations for the rainy season and the measures it has taken to deal with rain and floods, stressing the need for emergency teams to be ready around the clock and to continue implementing the plan to clean the rain drains, prepare water suction equipment, and ensure the readiness of the cars and vehicles used in the rainwater suction process.
  • He called for the need to intensify efforts to identify illegal connections and for full coordination between the company’s commercial sector and all branch heads in controlling these connections, which some resort to in order to avoid following legal connection procedures, to steal water, or to benefit from the sewage service without paying any dues.
  • He called for cooperation to improve the work system in order to provide better service to citizens, whether it be drinking water or sewage services, and to operate the stations at full capacity to meet the needs of citizens, and the need to act quickly to solve the problems facing citizens.
  • He emphasized that the company has made all the necessary preparations to secure drinking water and sanitation services in all schools that have committees for the runoff elections of the House of Representatives in 2025.
  • He directed the heads of branches to quickly resolve citizens’ problems and to continue field visits to the company’s stations to monitor the progress of work within the stations in order to continuously develop and reach the best level of quality technically and administratively, raise the efficiency of the stations, provide the necessary spare parts to complete the operation and maintenance process, and pay attention to the appropriate appearance of each station.
