The Chairman of the Holding Company inspects the Decent Life projects in the Martyrs Center.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, received Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and Dr. Abu Al-Abbas Issa, Vice Chairman of the Holding Company, to follow up on the projects being implemented within the framework of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” to develop the Egyptian countryside in the village of Darajil in the Shehada Center, as part of the continuous monitoring of implementation rates and to assess the actual completion rates.
Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata stressed that the Holding Company pays special attention to the “Decent Life” projects, and directed those in charge of implementation to adhere to the intensive time programs and accelerate work rates to achieve maximum benefit, which will directly benefit citizens.
He added that the state is injecting large investments into the drinking water and sanitation sector, reflecting a genuine interest in developing infrastructure and achieving sustainable development within villages, which contributes to a tangible improvement in the level of service provided to citizens.
At the end of the tour, the Chairman of the Holding Company inspected the Shebin El-Kom El-Bahary water station, which covers an area of 10 acres with a design capacity of 68,000 m3/day and serves the city of Shebin El-Kom and some of the affiliated villages.
