Menoufia Water: Postponing all periodic cleaning work for the networks until the end of the first semester exams of 2026.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, confirmed that it was decided to postpone the periodic cleaning of the networks in all areas of the governorate, coinciding with the start of the first semester exams for the year 2026.
He explained that the flushing operations will resume gradually, according to the schedule announced at the end of the month, as part of the regular flushing schedule for the networks in all areas of the governorate.
The necessary flushing operations will be carried out on a rotating basis by opening the flushing valves only in the evenings (outside of official exam times).
He emphasized the need for full coordination between the company's branches and the heads of local units, each within their respective jurisdictions, and stressed adherence to the established schedule and deadlines for washing and disinfection operations, as well as immediate response to any emergencies, in order to protect public health.
