Head of Menoufia Water Authority: Discussing procedures to resolve obstacles hindering some stalled projects.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, received Engineer Tariq Al-Rifai, Assistant Minister of Housing, MP Hisham Abdel-Wahed, Member of Parliament, MP Dr. Mohamed Moussa, Member of the Senate, representatives of the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and representatives of the Arab Contractors Company to discuss the status of joint projects and work to expedite their completion to serve citizens.
During the meeting, the most prominent problems facing these projects were reviewed, especially the sewage treatment plant in Al-Halamsha, Markaz Barakat Al-Saba, in order to develop immediate solutions to overcome the technical and administrative obstacles, while emphasizing coordination between the concerned parties to accelerate the implementation processes.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Housing stressed the need to develop an urgent plan to resume work on the stalled projects, with close monitoring of each implementation phase and ensuring adherence to the specified timetable, in addition to adhering to engineering and technical standards to ensure the quality of work.
He was tasked with monitoring all projects through specialized committees to follow up on the progress of work and remove any obstacles, with the submission of periodic reports on completion rates, stressing that service projects represent a top priority to improve the level of services provided to citizens and enhance the infrastructure in the governorate.
