The Prime Minister's advisor discusses water and sanitation projects in Menoufia.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, received Major General Hisham El-Sudani, Advisor to the Prime Minister for National Projects, to discuss the status of drinking water and sanitation projects in the governorate, in the presence of the Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Menoufia.
The company president confirmed that the meeting included a comprehensive review of the implementation status of ongoing projects in the governorate and a discussion of the challenges and obstacles facing implementation, with practical solutions to remove them immediately, in addition to identifying urgent priorities for service projects that directly affect the lives of citizens, most notably sanitation projects.
He pointed out that these projects represent a fundamental pillar for improving the quality of life for citizens, through the provision of safe and efficient water and sanitation services through full coordination between the government, the company and the National Authority to ensure rapid and integrated implementation.
He added that these projects will significantly increase the percentage of sewage coverage in the governorate, improve the health environment, reduce sewage-related problems in underserved areas, and enhance citizens' confidence in the state's ability to implement service projects that affect their daily lives.
