The Drinking Water Regulatory Authority and Consumer Protection Agency concludes its visit to the Menoufia Water Authority.
A committee from the Regulatory Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation and Consumer Protection concluded its visit to the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia to monitor the company's stations.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, said that the committee members visited the various stations and reviewed the operating logs, sample results, environmental records, and sludge disposal procedures.
He pointed out that the visit comes within the framework of the regulatory body’s review of the operational status of drinking water stations and ensuring the quality of the produced water, plans for collecting, treating and safely disposing of sewage, as well as following up on occupational safety and health plans at the stations and emphasizing the importance of implementing them to improve the level of drinking water and sewage services provided to the company’s customers.
