The head of the Menoufia Water Authority is monitoring the preparations of a number of treatment and pumping stations to deal with the wave of bad weather.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, inspected several treatment and pumping stations this morning as part of his field visits to monitor ongoing work at the company's branches and stations, ensuring their readiness to deal with the expected severe weather. He visited the Sebk El-Dahak treatment plant, the Sebk El-Dahak main pumping station 3, and the Sebk El-Dahak pumping station 2 in the city of El-Bagour, as well as the Mit Masoud pumping station and the El-Maselha pumping station in the Shebin El-Kom branch.
He stressed the necessity of taking all necessary measures and conducting regular maintenance of the stations according to the existing schedule for equipment maintenance. This is essential to maintain their operational readiness, monitor operations, and ensure the stations' overall appearance, all with the aim of preserving station efficiency and improving the quality of service provided to citizens.
This comes within the framework of directives issued by Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, and Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, to the heads of subsidiary companies to implement proactive procedures and preparations to ensure the stations' readiness and to achieve the highest level of technical and administrative quality in order to serve the public interest and enhance performance.
