The Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company continued its preparations to pump out rainwater accumulations, based on warnings from the Meteorological Authority.
Engineer Roshdy El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, directed all branches to raise their state of emergency to address the potential wave of rain. He emphasized the readiness of the sewage networks and pumping stations and the continued deployment of vacuum trucks in areas prone to water accumulation to prevent disruption to traffic flow.
The heads of branches demanded the necessity of field presence and maximum readiness in anticipation of potential rains, noting the provision of equipment ready to pump water and clean all areas at the governorate level to prepare for the rainy season in full coordination with the governorate's operations room and the electricity company.
