  • During an evening tour In pictures: The Governor of Menoufia inspects the efforts to pump rainwater and respond immediately to the severe weather in the eastern and western districts of Shebin El-Kom. The Governor emphasizes the need to inspect streetlights to ensure public safety. This evening, Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, conducted a field tour to monitor the work of pumping and removing rainwater accumulations in the eastern and western districts of Shebin El-Kom, accompanied by Mr. Sayed Shaaban, Head of the western district of Shebin El-Kom, and Mr. Haitham Azak, Head of the eastern district.
  • The Governor of Menoufia directed that the state of readiness be raised and that emergency teams and necessary equipment be deployed to quickly remove any water accumulations to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and facilitate the movement of citizens. He emphasized the need for continuous field presence by executive bodies and the water company to monitor the situation closely. The Governor stressed the importance of monitoring streetlights to protect citizens' lives and ensuring the continuation of pumping operations around the clock until all accumulations are completely cleared. He affirmed that the governorate is fully prepared to respond immediately to weather changes, in order to safeguard the security and well-being of its citizens.
