  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, directed the company to expedite the handling of rainwater and deploy vacuum trucks to pump out the water, in order to prevent traffic congestion, particularly in the governorate's cities, in accordance with the directives of Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia. He stated that several areas across the governorate were affected by a wave of severe weather, resulting in rainfall that caused water to accumulate in the streets. He instructed branch heads to oversee the rainwater pumping operations, and the necessary equipment, including vacuum trucks and suction pumps, was immediately deployed in coordination with relevant authorities. The necessary work was carried out, and the accumulated rainwater was pumped out.
