In accordance with the directives of the Governor of Menoufia, a coordination meeting was held to discuss the progress of the completed presidential initiative "Decent Life" projects in the villages of Ashmoun and El Shohada, in order to address any issues and put them into service for the citizens.
As part of the keenness and interest of Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, to continuously and periodically follow up on the status of handing over a number of projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” in preparation for their operation and entry into service and to achieve a qualitative leap in the level of services in the villages of the Egyptian countryside, Major General Abdullah El-Deeb, the Secretary-General, held a coordination meeting today to follow up on the completion rates of handing over the projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life” that have been completed in various sectors in the villages of Ashmoun and El-Shohada districts, in the presence of Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Menoufia.
The progress of the Dar Al-Handasah inspections and handovers was reviewed, and a letter from the Roads Directorate regarding the expedited installation of water valve chamber covers on the Ashmoun-Al-Kawadi Road (Route 21) was discussed, as well as the connection line for the filtration station on the Shama Road. The connection of electricity for the installation of two cabins at the Sebk Al-Ahad wastewater treatment plant was also discussed.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed the need to redouble efforts, ensure full coordination among all relevant authorities, and intensify field monitoring to complete and hand over all projects across various sectors. He emphasized the importance of addressing any outstanding issues to expedite project handover procedures as soon as possible, in the interest of the public and to improve the quality of services provided.
