In line with digital transformation and automation of services, Menoufia Water Company is training its employees to deal with the second phase of the Drops program.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, confirmed that, in line with the political leadership's drive towards digitalization and in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030, employees in the Awareness and Community Engagement Departments have been trained on the second phase of the Drops program. This phase focuses on automating the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of these departments' work.
He explained that the training aims to familiarize employees in these departments with the mechanisms for using the second phase of the program and how to implement all plans using the Drops application.
He added that the Drops program is an electronic platform that records activities and generates reports, evaluations, and monthly assessments of the departments using the application. This is achieved by uploading data, images, and reports on the work carried out according to the plans set within the application.
The Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater is adopting the Drops program as part of its digital transformation strategy. This initiative aims to leverage modern technology to automate work processes and procedures, and to identify performance indicators through the application. This aligns with the political leadership's focus on digitalization and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030. The company noted the readiness of the departments using the application to begin implementation after completing a two-day training course. The training was attended by Mr. Walid Salah, Director of the Awareness Department at the Holding Company, and Engineer Mohamed Rady, also from the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
Engineer Rushdi, Chairman of the Holding Company, honored Mr. Walid Salah, Director of the Awareness Department, for his outstanding efforts and for receiving the Best Department Director award at the Egypt Government Excellence Awards.
