The Chairman of the Holding Company for Water honors the ideal mother at the Menoufia Water Company.
In line with the directives of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and the state's commitment to supporting and empowering Egyptian women, Engineer Mustafa El-Shimi, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, honored the Ideal Mother of the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company for 2026. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Major General Assem Shukr, and Dr. Abu El-Abbas Issa, Vice Chairmen of the Board, and Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman and Managing Director of the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company. Engineer El-Shimi emphasized that this recognition reflects the state's appreciation for the role of Egyptian women, who have proven their ability to balance their professional responsibilities with their family roles. He noted that women are essential partners in the development process and contribute effectively to building society and shaping the future.
He explained that all mothers deserve recognition for their dedication and sacrifices, both in the workplace and in raising future generations. He affirmed that the Holding Company and its subsidiaries are replete with exemplary figures who have demonstrated the competence and excellence of women in various work and leadership positions.
The Chairman of the Holding Company expressed his pride in the inspiring stories of struggle presented by the exemplary mothers, reflecting the highest ideals of dedication and devotion. He thanked the Holding Company's Public Relations team and the Menoufia Water Company team for organizing the event and selecting the exemplary mothers according to objective criteria.
Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, stated that the company will continue to support positive role models and enhance the role of women in various fields, contributing to a balanced and motivating work environment that supports the path of sustainable development.
For his part, Eng. Rushdi Omar, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, affirmed that honoring the ideal mother comes within the framework of the company’s keenness to honor the honorable examples of the company’s employees and highlight inspiring success stories that reflect the values of giving and dedication. He explained that the committee formed to select the ideal mothers received this year a number of distinguished examples, who presented moving human stories that embody the highest meanings of sacrifice and struggle, noting that the selection process was carried out according to precise criteria that ensure equal opportunities and achieve transparency, in a manner befitting the status of this honor.
