Menoufia Water announces a network flushing plan for May 2026.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced a plan to flush the water networks across the governorate during May 2026, according to the schedule for the periodic flushing of the networks.
The Chairman explained that there is full coordination between the company's branches and the heads of local units, each within their respective jurisdictions, to ensure adherence to the established timetable and scheduled dates for the flushing and disinfection work. He also emphasized the importance of immediate response to any emergencies to protect public health.
The company urges citizens to secure their water needs and refrain from using water during the flushing period, even if it appears in the network. The company also advises that if any sediment or turbidity appears in the water after the flushing process, the water should be run for a short time to remove these residues.

This comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, to continue the necessary periodic maintenance work according to the established plan for flushing water networks in various areas of the governorate to ensure the quality of water provided to citizens.
