  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, followed up on the implementation of the sanitation service extension project in Kafr Shenoufa village, Shibin El-Kom district. He indicated that the project includes the construction of a pumping station, a discharge line, and gravity sewer networks, funded by Dr. Sherine El-Qashash, Member of Parliament, with the aim of improving the level of services provided to citizens and expanding sanitation coverage to underserved areas. He stressed the necessity of completing all works and bringing the project online before May 30, 2026, emphasizing the importance of quickly utilizing the investments made to implement the project and maximizing its benefits for citizens.
  • He inspected the ongoing replacement, renovation, extension, and reinforcement works of the sewage system in the village of Toukh Dalqa, affiliated with Tala Center. These works include extending and reinforcing gravity sewer networks, replacing and renovating existing sewage networks, and constructing a new gravity sewer pumping station to supplement the existing station in the village. He emphasized that the project aims to alleviate the load on the old station, expand the service area, improve the efficiency of services provided to citizens, and reduce sewage overflow complaints. The company chairman stressed the need to accelerate the pace of implementation and complete the works before the Menoufia Governorate's National Day, while fully adhering to the established quality and technical specifications. This will achieve the company's goals of improving the level of sewage services and enhancing the services provided to citizens in various villages throughout the governorate.
