Mohamed Naguib Saleh, head of the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company, announced that all branches of the company have been raised on alert to deal immediately with rainwater accumulations and that sweeping vehicles will be stationed throughout the day to suck out any rainwater accumulations to facilitate the movement of citizens and the movement of cars in the streets and squares.
  • He added, the necessary equipment was moved to the company's various branches to withdraw water according to the distribution of cars, equipment and mobile water suction machines in vital places in accordance with the previously agreed-upon placement plan.
  • Naguib stressed the intensification of field visits to places where rainwater collects, the continuation of sewage network disinfection operations, and the presence of sweeping vehicles in preparation for vacuuming rainwater accumulations as soon as they occur, in order to maintain the regularity of traffic movement.
  • He stated that the company receives any reports about places where rain accumulates and moves immediately to scoop and sweep it by calling the hotline 125 from any landline or mobile phone.
