Head of Menoufia Water: The work of pumping out rain accumulations continues at night in various parts of the governorate.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, announced the continuation of the work of pumping out rainwater collections after the governorate was exposed to a wave of bad weather since the early hours of this morning.
He said: The Menoufia Water Company continues the work of pumping out rainwater collections from this morning until now, as the necessary teams and equipment have been deployed to remove rainwater collections in the streets, squares and tunnels to ensure regular operations to remove any collections of water to ensure that the rain does not obstruct traffic in order to avoid the problems of increasing accumulated water.
He stated that the company's equipment is stationed in various streets of the governorate throughout the day to sweep away rainwater and clear drains to ensure that the water drains promptly to prevent its accumulation in the streets and to open the road for the movement of cars and the crossing of citizens.
He stressed that the company receives any reports about places where rain collects and must move immediately to scoop and sweep it away by calling the hotline 125 from any landline or mobile phone.
