Menoufia Water: Field follow-up of the practical training of students of the Menoufia Drinking Water School.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced the continuation of practical training for first and second-year students of the Menoufia Technical Secondary School for Drinking Water and Sanitation. The training will take place from July 5th to August 6th, 2026, at the company's stations, laboratories, and networks.
He stated that, in coordination with the Menoufia Directorate of Education, a practical training plan has been developed under the full supervision of the General Directorate of Training and the school administration. A specialized team of engineers and chemists from the school's teaching staff, along with science teachers from the Ministry of Education, will conduct the training. Occupational safety and health officials from the stations and station managers will also be involved.
Engineer Mohamed Abdullah, Director General of Training, explained that the students affiliated with the school in the Sharqia and Gharbia governorates were monitored in coordination with the Directors General of Training at those companies to ensure adherence to instructions for completing the student training process with the required efficiency.
He added that the practical training aims to finalize the student evaluation process before the start of the new academic year. The training takes place in stations and laboratories and covers various subjects, including electrical installations, network operation and maintenance, wastewater treatment plants, drinking water laboratory equipment, fundamentals of wastewater systems, rotating machinery technology, water technology, wastewater treatment technology, drinking water laboratories, drainage networks, and an introduction to laboratory experiments.
