Menoufia Water: Connecting the sewage facility to 91 government facilities at the governorate level.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Menoufia, said that the year 2023 witnessed the delivery of the sewage facility to 91 government facilities at the governorate level, and the implementation of sewage network works with a length of 6,800 metres, to extend sewage service within the presidential initiative “Hayat karema” Ashmoun district and El shohadaa district.
He added, 198 km of sewage networks were received and implemented by the Engineering Authority and the executive body of the National Authority for Drinking Water. Work was carried out to replace and renew sewage networks with lengths of 14 km and implement 4 km for the areas with the most complaints in the governorate’s districts. Raising the efficiency of treatment stations (Al-Batanun, Shama and Tahway and Ashmoun) and sewage lifting stations in (Al-Musaylaha, Al-Shuhadaa, Menouf, Abu Mashhour, Jarwan, Al-May, and Kafr Zarqan)
He pointed out that 3,500 sewage rooms have been implemented in many villages, and sewage slope networks are being received to serve a large number of citizens in the areas in order to provide distinguished service to citizens, meet their needs, and benefit from the services provided by the company.
