  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, confirmed the regular operation of all stations and networks across the governorate, and the continuation of the shift system at all company sites in preparation for Eid al-Adha.
  • He added that the highest level of preparedness has been raised at water stations and networks across the governorate, and the necessary quantities of water have been provided for use in sacrificial animal sacrifices. Coordination has also been made with all branches to carry out disinfection work for sewers, pumping stations, and treatment plants to address any problems that may arise in the networks and stations.
  • He issued instructions to establish an emergency room in each of the company's branches in preparation for the Eid al-Adha holiday, stressing the importance of following up on all complaints received on the 125 hotline and working to resolve them immediately, especially problems related to the appearance of floods in the streets or the quality of water.
  • He explained that an awareness campaign is being implemented to disseminate the company's message and inform citizens of the need to maintain sewage networks and avoid dumping sacrificial animal waste, which can lead to sewage blockages, sewage overflows, and damage to network lines. The campaign also aims to educate visitors about the importance of maintaining sewage networks.
