  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, announced the start of the water convoy activities, which were implemented by the Awareness Department in the Arab El-Raml village, affiliated with the Quweisna Center, to implement several awareness activities aimed at rationalizing water consumption.
  • He pointed out that the convoy included awareness seminars, light plumbing workshops, installation of water-saving parts, purification of the sewage network, customer service and collection with the aim of raising water awareness among the village residents regarding water issues and the necessity of preserving it with the participation of the commercial sector (customer service - revenues), the laboratory sector and the operations and maintenance sector of the company.
  • He added that the campaign's activities included randomly withdrawing water samples from residents' homes by the laboratory sector and conducting preliminary analysis to reassure citizens and enhance their confidence in domestic drinking water and avoid private filters and stations.
  • He added that several plumbing workshops were conducted for the caravan's visitors, teaching them home maintenance techniques for sanitary ware, which help conserve water. Awareness seminars were also held for school students, water-saving components were installed in restrooms and ablution areas, and interactive activities were conducted with school children.
  • The convoy's activities included interacting with numerous customers experiencing water bill-related issues, answering their inquiries, and assisting in resolving them through a mobile customer service vehicle. This was aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction, enabling us to communicate with them, and opening new channels of communication with the public.
  • The company's chairman emphasized that the goal of the water convoys is to maintain ongoing communication with citizens across the governorate, inform them of the services provided by the company, and emphasize the need to rationalize water consumption, optimize the use of sewage networks, and address the dangers of Abyssinian pumps and filters and their impact on public health.
