Menoufia Water: The conclusion of the water caravan activities in Arab El Raml village in Qawisna to raise awareness about rationalizing water consumption.
The Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company concluded the two-day water convoy in Arab El Raml village in Quesna to address the village's drinking water and wastewater problems.
Eng. Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman and Managing Director, pointed out that the convoy included awareness seminars for visitors to the village youth center and health unit, urging them to adopt a culture of rationalizing water consumption.
He added that the laboratory and quality control team visited a number of homes in the village to take random water samples and analyze them immediately. All of the samples were in compliance with the standard specifications as part of the village's water convoy activities.
He stressed that the company is making every effort to preserve every drop of water by implementing workshops to teach women the principles of light plumbing in order to repair damaged home plumbing without the help of a plumber and to preserve every drop of water from being wasted.
Also, installing water-saving pieces in mosques to emphasize the importance of rationalizing water consumption.
The convoy concluded with responding to citizens' complaints and inquiries, distributing brochures, promoting the available spare parts, and educating residents about the role of the 125 hotline for receiving complaints about water and sewage malfunctions. It also promoted the prepaid meter, as well as educating villagers about the various ways to communicate with the company to solve citizens' problems related to drinking water and sewage.
