Head of Menoufia Water: There will be no interruption of water in conjunction with the holidays of the Christian brothers and the mid-year exams.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, President of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, stated that it was decided to postpone the washing work specified in the periodic washing round in all areas of the governorate, starting from Wednesday, corresponding to 1/3/2024, until Wednesday, corresponding to 1/24/2024, coinciding with the celebrations of the Coptic brothers Merry Christmas and the start of the first semester exams, provided that washing work is resumed successively according to the dates specified in the periodic washing work schedule for networks in all regions of the governorate during the month of January 2024 AD.
He emphasized full coordination between the company's branches and the heads of local units, each within its scope, and the emphasis on adherence to the specified timetable and scheduled dates for washing and disinfection work and immediate dealing with any emergency in order to preserve the health of citizens.
The company called on citizens to manage their water needs and not use it during the washing period, even if it is found in the network. The company also notes that if any sediments stuck to the water or turbidity appear after the washing process, the water will be run for some time to get rid of those sediments resulting from washing.
