  • Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, confirmed that conserving water is a love of my religion and my country, and that spreading water awareness among school students helps in consolidating the principles of drinking water conservation and teaching them the correct behaviors, water conservation, and the optimal use of sewage networks.
  • He pointed out that, in cooperation with Menoufia University, a team from the Faculty of Science was received at the Al-Dabaiba filtered water station in Berkat El-Sabaa to learn about the company’s efforts to produce a cup of healthy and safe water in accordance with international quality standards. Random water samples were drawn from the station to ensure water quality.
  • He added, the middle school students were introduced to the stages of water purification and the most important modern technologies through which water is provided in homes, and the return that accrues to the state, families, and individuals from providing water, optimal use of it, maintaining sewage networks in homes, and the efforts made by the state to provide a clean cup of water to all citizens. .
  • He stated that the activities included educating students about the hotline 125 and the services it provides, as well as the drinking water and sanitation projects implemented in the villages and centers of Menoufia as part of the presidential initiative, A Decent Life, to introduce them to the huge projects undertaken by the state in the drinking water and sanitation sector and ways to preserve them.
  • He pointed out the implementation of a number of awareness-raising activities, such as participating in adult education convoys in cooperation with the Public Authority for Adult Education, to educate those who frequent the convoy about the necessity of rationalizing water consumption and preserving it, and the optimal use of sewage networks.
